Set in 2024, the pandemic is pretty much over but England is left bankrupt. Mass unemployment, disaffected young people and desperate families. A General Election looms.With uncontrollable riots on the streets, people are so frightened they go into self-imposed lockdown. A militia is seen by the right-wing Government as useful to do their dirty work.Older people are viewed as expendable, a drain on precious Government financial resources. The Government develop a plan to give lethal injections to vulnerable people, under the guise of a vaccine top-up. Using unsuspecting medical staff. Follow a University professor of Philosophy, as he becomes involved with a socialist newspaper publisher trying to stop this plan. They each have their own agenda, as do the politicians vying for control.Is this simply fiction? Does history repeat itself?
